Notable Products from the Show Floor:
AV Franklin - Dynamic Lite "Tripod Screen Killer"
The Dynamic Lite resembles a fast-fold screen but is designed for faster and easier setup than an 8' tripod screen (including the dress kit). It is available in 6' and 8' sizes and is constructed from lightweight aluminum, enabling one person to set it up in minutes.
Absen Live - Flex Series
The Flex Series introduces unparalleled flexibility and creativity, enabling large-angle concave or convex shapes, cylindrical forms, or 90-degree arcs. This product complements Absen's NT/PL V10/PL V2 series, delivering a high-quality and captivating visual experience with cutting-edge performance and curved aesthetics.
ROXX - E.SHOW maxx TW+
The E.SHOW maxx TW+ expands the SHOW series with an 800W luminaire that produces perfect whites and vivid colors. Certified with an IP65 rating, it offers an output of up to 10,000lx at a beam angle of 14°/5m. Designed for large exhibitions, big shows, and studio applications, this spotlight replaces costly, maintenance-heavy discharge lamps. It features a "one-hand lens change system," powerless presets for dimmer and colors, and integrated CRMX transmit/receive functionality.
Brompton SQ200
Brompton Technology unveiled the Tessera SQ200, the world's most powerful 8K video processor. It builds on the award-winning SX40, adding support for 8K and 4x4K workflows, AV-over-IP protocols like ST2110 and IPMX, and delivering 20 times the processing power of the SX40. This innovation ensures compatibility with existing Brompton-powered LED panels while providing headroom for future advancements.
RF Venue - Spectrum Recorder
The Spectrum Recorder simplifies managing wireless microphone and in-ear monitor systems by capturing RF activity in the 400-700 MHz band. It saves data as timestamped CSV files, accessible directly via USB or remotely over a local network, making it easier to monitor and optimize systems.
Holoplot X1 and X2
A standout demonstration featured the X1 speakers. During a live event simulation, the system seamlessly switched between three vocal tracks in different languages based on the listener's position. The precision was remarkable, with no transition noise or interference between tracks. The technology was also demoed at the Sphere, providing an incredible and immersive experience. This is a must-see for anyone interested in cutting-edge audio technology.
InfoComm 2024 was an inspiring event filled with technological innovations and meaningful connections. The show continues to set the standard for the professional AV industry, and anticipation is already building for what the 2025 event in Orlando will bring!
